About Me
Derek Dishington
is an accomplished pianist and vocalist from bonnie Scotland. Since graduating in Musical Theatre from the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Derek has entertained audiences in the UK and all across the world - from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean, Iceland to Antarctica - bringing his Caledonian charm, vibrant piano skills and powerhouse vocals onboard luxury cruise ships of all sizes.
He has worked both as a soloist in piano bars, and as part of a band - most notably the Resident Band Leader and Lead Vocalist of Gary Barlow's 710 Club onboard P&O Iona.
Derek is passionate about connecting with people through music - from learning new requests for the songs that mean the most to you, through to the big crowd-pleasing tunes that have you up and dancing into the wee small hours!
